About EUInternetWEEK™

Returning in 2013 for a second year, EU Internet WEEK™ will bring together stakeholders from all areas of Internet-related policy and industry. Last year’s EU Internet WEEK™ attracted over 500 delegates and featured senior policy-makers and business representatives. Key topics discussed included the safety of children online, boosting e-commerce in Europe and supporting the development of exciting Internet of Things and M2M technologies.

The major event of this year’s week will be the 5th Annual European E-Commerce Conference on Tuesday 15th October, which will focus on the realisation of the Digital Single Market for Europe as one of four fundamental drivers for a more competitive and prosperous Europe, as recently endorsed by the European Commission. Part of the European Commission’s Single Market Month 2013, the week will also play host to a wide variety of other events covering a range of areas, including data privacy, online payments and big data.
